Certification

Wood is a versatile, renewable and environmentally friendly raw material, especially when sourced through responsible and sustainable forest management.
Our utmost concern is that our worldwide purchased logs are harvested in sustainably managed forests; our trade timber is delivered by trusted and reliable sources. We strictly follow and respect the laws pertaining to the trade against illegally harvested logs and wood products, e.g. as per the decree of the EUTR (European Timber Regulation). When purchasing raw material, we focus on suppliers who act according to internationally accepted standards of sustainable forestry practices and human rights, as per PEFC ™ and FSC ^® standards.
As of September 2010, we are FSC ^® Chain of Custody certified; our PEFC ™ Chain of Custody certification followed in September 2013. Our current legality and sustainability certificates are viewable and available for download below:
