In addition to our production needs, we also continuously purchase high-quality logs from Europe, North America and Africa for resale. All logs are personally inspected by our procurement experts at their respective sources of origin.
Our international log purchase activities are focused solely on well-managed, sustainable forests.
Our strategy is to work and cooperate with suppliers which are certified under internationally recognized standards for sustainable forest management and human rights, e.g. PEFC ™ and FSC ^®. Our long standing suppliers extend over all types of forest ownerships, as in State, communal and private.
